A well-known personality in the Tri-State Area, Dr Bernie was once Hermano Mayor of Philippine Fiesta USA. For ten years he chaired the Cultural Events of the PIDCI New York until he was elected president of same in 2010. He was Grand Marshal of PDOC Passaic, president of Nueva Ecija Association of Eastern USA, president of Aurora Association-Eastern USA and was awarded recognitions by several Filipino associations for his contribution and dedication to his kababayan.
Dr Bernie, a Diabetes Care Specialist, is physician by profession and musician by vocation.
